We have really loved our time in León – catching the bus from Mansilla made it feel like a two day stay and we feel like we’ve been able to both relax and see the sights. I even managed to get a haircut and beard trim!

Our accommodation in the Hostal San Marco is the best we have had on any camino (almost any holiday full stop!) and León is full of great restaurants as well as many historical buildings.

Here are a few photos of this beautiful city!

The shortest walk of the trip so far – from the bus station to our hotel!

There was a car club in town – if you look closely this one’s gone from Perth to Uluru and then Gold Coast!
Our room for a couple of nights – you could have fitted three of our previous rooms into it!
