Well, Sarria was certainly not what I expected, being the most popular starting point for the Camino Santiago. We were there on Spain’s national holiday but, nevertheless, it seemed very quiet and not very touristy.

Our hotel was right on the rió Sarria and quite close to the old town, which is sort of a mini “Royal Mile” – one road up the hill to the castle!

Still, a nice relax in preparation for the last stage of the camino!

Pretty quiet day in the old town!

About to start dinner at Mr Roberto, where we ate 3 times in just over 24 hours!
There’s rain on the way!
