Quite short walk for us today but for a change the highlight of the day wasn’t the weather but rather the end of the day. Our destination is the site of the iconic Minack Theatre where we had the good fortune of having two tickets to watch the Royal Marine Band Plymouth play the “Proms”. The theatre is carved out of/set into the granite in the headland just west of Porthcurno beach – it was a bit cold and windy but the band was superb despite the conditions!

Our walk was in increasing winds from the north but during the day we swung into the south coast of Cornwall so initially it was not too bad but in the latter party of the walk we were exposed on the headlands so it got quite chilly.

We’ve passed Land’s End and after Porthgwarra we have been well and truly on the south coast returning east from the western point.

Sunny weather forest for the next few days🤞

Rain clouds followed us all day – another rainbow out to sea

Land’s End signpost – we don’t pay to have our picture taken with it!

Carn Boel, I think, in the gloom of a passing cloud
One tiny little creek did this!
The boulders look as though someone stacked them on top of each other!

Back to the pictures of people falling off a cliff – it’s hard too believe how close the path passes to a sheer drop at times!
