Just a little 12 and a half kilometre walk over Monte Avril (elevation 340m) into Bilbao today – we landed here 12 days ago took an hour and a half to get to San Sebastián and 7 days to walk back! We are staying in a little pension in the old town and have a couple of nights here before another short walk to an outer suburb of Bilbao called Portugalete, so plenty of opportunity to relax!
Check out the picture of the goat that decided the grass was a bit greener on the other side of the fence – I’m pretty sure it didn’t think things all the way through when it put its head through the fence! 152km down, 665km to go!
