Welcome back to Alison and Dave Steele’s record of our two journeys on foot! Almost 3 years after tackling the Camino del Norte, we’re back at it again. This time our journey will take us along the Via Podensis from Le-Puy-en-Velay to St Jean Pied-de-Port, about 770kms by my calculation. Once again, we’re just about set to go – flights booked, accommodation booked (a slight change to last time – we are getting our luggage transported each day – a bit of a cheat but we’re not getting any younger!) and our bags just about packed!
We haven’t done as much training as last time – our plans seem to have been interrupted by travel, sickness and a little bit of laziness – so we hope there’s some residual fitness from the Camino! As usual, Alison has rolled her ankle just before the trip but it all appears ok now😀
