Our first full day on the path, with a mix of busy (near Padstow and Trevone) and idyllic but always with stunning views.

From Padstow we headed towards Stepper Point along the estuary of the Camel River and then turned west into a fresh but not overwhelming breeze. Plenty of lovely coves, a few steep drop-offs next to the paths and a couple of headlands and then we were at our destination, Harlyn Bay.

We’re staying at a fancy manor house, The Pig, tonight which should be interesting. Rain forecast for tomorrow!

  1. Steve & I stayed at The Pig near Bath in 2017. The Pig in Harlyn looks fabulous too, a great choice. Looks like a good journey so far. All the best.
