Despite the rain, we had a day of spectacular views along windswept cliffs and the occasional protected cove (porth in Cornish apparently). We had our wet weather gear on almost all day and it seemed to work, even in a couple of reasonable downpours.

Only a couple of villages today, Treyarnon and Porthcothan before Mawgan Porth, each of which we stopped at for a break. Some good looking surf at most coves, although at times it was hard to see how you’d get down to the beach.

The path passes very close to the cliff at times – no beers at lunchtime for me!

We were on the path for just under six hours today – at least four times as long as our walks leading into this!

A shorter day tomorrow and perhaps a bit less rain😀

Back on the path

Pre dinner drinks!
