Back doing some serious walking again today, and what a day it was! The weather was perfect, for the most part the path was very good, and where it wasn’t it was at least dry and walkable!

The walk out of Marazion was great – a much nicer village as we walked out compared to walking in. Beautiful views to our right past both rocky and sandy coves until we rounded Cudden Point and headed towards Praa Sands, for lunch.

From there the walking got a bit more difficult, with narrower paths, but we made good time to our destination, the beautiful port of Porthleven.

Dinner last night as the sun set
Setting off through the village of Marazion
St Michael’s Mount in the morning sun

Marazion and St Michael’s Mount
Perran Sands
Shorts for the first time this trip, Cudden Point in the background
Al climbing up towards Cudden Point
And walking down towards, I think, Bessy’s Cove
Out of now where, the path took us through what looks like a hotel or function Centre
Looking back at it a bit later on
Coming up to Praa Sands, having made very good time this morning.
There’s two?
Lunch at Praa Sands. Our first real relaxing lunch on the path so far and very welcome!
Looking back at Praa Sands
Wheal Prosper Engine House
And some others a bit further along – marked on our guidebook (which is useless) as Greystone mines
A massive cliff at, I think, Bullion Cove
The harbour at Porthleven
